At the beginning of 2026, the American company Compass finalized the acquisition of Anywhere Real Estate Inc., a group that brings together several historic real estate brokerage brands, including Sotheby's International Realty.

This strategic transaction has led to the creation of a new entity, Compass International Holdings, now led by Robert Reffkin, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Compass.
