LirÔlac Festival in Talloires: An Unmissable Literary Celebration

Since 2021, Talloires-Montmin and its organising committee have been staging a literary festival of excellence. The LirÔlac Festival is a not-to-be-missed event, entirely free of charge and open to all, bringing together some twenty of the best-known authors of French literature every year. This year, it will be held from 30 September to 1 October 2023.

This event is the perfect opportunity to meet your favourite authors, discover new literary talent, and share your love of literature with a public from all backgrounds and of all generations. The signing sessions take place in the magnificent bay of Talloires on the shores of the lake, offering a magnificent setting for privileged encounters with the writers.

The Festival also offers conferences led by literary journalists under open-air marquees, creating an immersive atmosphere conducive to intellectual exchange. There will also be a bookshop where you can buy books by the authors taking part, as well as a wide selection of books for young readers.

To encourage and celebrate young literary talent, the LirÔlac Festival is organising the LirÔlac Jeunesse writing competition, aimed at high school and university students. Sparkling, dynamic young voices will also be giving talks aloud, adding a fresh touch to this literary event.
