Menthon Raid

In Menthon-Saint-Bernard, the Filos association, led by young locals from the village, has chosen to innovate. Here, there’s no classic course or monotonous straight line. The adventure begins in the waters of the lake, continues along the trails, and climbs all the way up to the castle. A bold vision : why stick to a single discipline when you can bring them all together ?

The Menthon spirit

A postcard-worthy setting as the backdrop: the crystal-clear waters of the lake, the wooded slopes, and a route designed to surprise. The Menthon Raid is raced in pairs and offers a demanding sequence : 4 km of running, 400 meters of swimming, 9.5 km of run & bike, and then 17 km of hiking with nearly 965 meters of elevation gain. At each stage, unique challenges await participants including one inside the Menthon Castle itself.

For a more accessible experience, the Raidonnette provides a friendly alternative: four kilometers between the village and the shores, to be covered either running or walking. A format open to everyone, balancing effort and contemplation.

The day will conclude with an awards ceremony and a convivial moment shared among participants.

A committed approach

Beyond the sporting challenge, the Menthon Raid carries a message of solidarity. This edition supports two local associations: Comité Féminin 74, dedicated to breast cancer prevention and screening, and Soleil Soleil, which supports families of children affected by rare diseases. Two vital causes, deeply rooted in the region.
